6.Victim Support Service
Aims:
-
To provide information on criminal justice processes
-
To counsel victims of crime
-
To prepare victims of crime for court procedures
-
To assist in the presentation of victim impact statements
-
To assist with criminal injuries compensation
-
To liaise with police, courts and other agencies for referrals and ongoing support for victims of crime
This programme is funded by the Department of the Attorney General and operates in Geraldton and Carnarvon.
